Starting a blog for profit is probably the simplest startup thought but requires quite some effort and consistency to be twisted into a profitable startup. Startup cost is next to nothing. All you need is a field and a hosting account, and a blog can be place together using any of the available standard blogging scripts, like many additional bloggers I would suggest wordpress but there are plenty of additional blogging CMSs available online.
